In February 2019, myself and Labour councillor Dorothy Kirk put forward a successful amendment to Cornwall Council’s budget meaning that £3.5 million over 4 years went into children’s mental healthcare - to provide a school nurse in each of Cornwall’s 31 secondary schools.
