On Friday, Cornwall Council’s Conservative Cabinet make the decision whether to let Wadebridge leisure centre and Ships and Castles transfer over to new community ownership, or to shut them down.
Falmouth and our Town Council have made it very clear that a place of the size of Falmouth and Penryn should not be without a swimming pool. We have supported the new community interest company, Pendennis Leisure, set up by local people, in their bid to take it on.
We are going to register Ships and Castles as a community asset to try to keep it and the headland safe.
I think the message in this article is very clear.
